chase is on

Dover race

Well we just caught up to Doug Caldwell driver of the #66 to see what he had to say about the race and he really did not have a whole lot to say. However he did say that with not making the chase a whole lot of pressure was off of him. And that he really had fun out there today it was a real fun track probably one of his favorites. And now he is looking forward to finishing this season and racing for the Chase next year.

Gary Caldwell driver of the # 82 Miller Genuine Draft Chevy wasn't sure what was happening on the track. Every time he worked his way up through traffic a caution would come out and he would lose positions in the pits. The one that hurt overall was the last one where Kevin Harvick dumped Kurt Bush, because it fell just as he had pitted and when the caution fell it put him out of contention.Gary did say that he hopes next year is a better year because over the course of this season a lot of things have not went his way and most not of his own doing. He did say that he thinks the COT was a more stable car which made it funner to drive. With the new Sponsor he hopes it will be a more promising year.

“WE just hung in there,” Todd said about his race. “ We were junk on the long runs.” Todd told us that his team would have to step it up in the chase to be real contenders. The two bright spots were short runs and they have pits stops in the 13 second bracket.
