Samsung 500

Tuesday April 24th a beautiful day for racing. Clear skies and 75 degrees. It was a race that Gary Caldwell Driver of the Caldwell Motor Sports #82 car would not forget. He was on fire all day from start to finish. There is only one word needed to describe him and that is "dominating ". The #58 car of Todd Caldwell was also a contender for a top 5 finish until Kyle Busch got into him. This is what Todd had to say "I don"t know what Kyle Busch was doing when he ruined my car and about killed two members of my pit crew. I would like to hear what he has to say.He also went on to say that he wants to Congratulate Gary and his crew for having a flawless race both in the pits and on the track. And I really thought that Caldwell Motor Sports was going to have a 1-2-3 finish. And I had alot of fun racing with Gary and Doug today." Doug Caldwell driver of the #66 car really did not have a whole lot to say after being taken out of contention by a lap car and also a teammate. He did say that teammate Jeff Runnells #59 has alot to learn. But did say he was happy for his teammate Gary for the day he had. Todd came back to get a top 15 finish which is a big surprise after his incident in the pits with Kyle Busch. When we spoke to Gary Caldwell he was almost speechless he was overcome with joy after dominating the track all day and winning his first race and doing so from the pole position. After the year he has had so far this is just what he needed.
