Wind at 10 mph out of the West and cloudy with a chance of storms. Skies look like they could threaten the race here this weekend but the only storms ended up being on the track for the Caldwell Motorsports Team. The #58 Chevy of Todd Caldwell started off to be a top 5 contender if not the winner of this race.
His problems started in the pits when he spun several times exiting the pits. The #82 Chevy of Gary Caldwell seemed to be happy just to ride along in the back and to try to stay out of all the wrecks. He did work his way up and then spun out.The #66 Chevy of Doug Caldwell as always ends up in the middle of the pck and right in the thick of things. It was a bad day for the Cladwell Motorsports Team as it would be their worst finishes as a team all year. I spoke to all threee brothers in their garage and they didn't seem to be letting this bother them they just seem to be focused on the task at hand of Richmond this week.
